Designs for the 2020 NHS staff survey campaign.

Myself and my colleague, Jo had to create a campaign for our staff survey campaign. As we were in the middle of a COVID-19 lockdown, we had to find a way to reach our staff due to a lot of people being way too busy to check emails and a lot of people working from home. So we thought of sending a postcard to every member of staff to their home addresses with details on how they could complete their survey.

Then we had to think of the design and while we were thinking about the messaging, we know it only takes 10-15 minutes to complete it - the same amount of time it takes to have a cup of tea. So we had the idea of basing it around 'popping the kettle on' encouraging our staff to have a cup of tea and settle down to complete their survey.

Jo then had the brilliant idea to contact Tetley, asking if they would be willing to donate some tea bags for us to insert into the envelope along with the postcard, which they were happy to do. Following on from this, I then illustrated some mugs, either from the cupboard at work or staff's personal favourite mug to put on the postcard to match the theme. This then resulted in the design you can see below.

On the whole, this was well received and our thanks go to Tetley.
