This cover was inspired by Alexander Forsey’s cover of Jenny Hval’s Blood Bitch, as I loved the way he used images that had been ripped up or burnt and then placed down together to create the cover. After seeing the official single cover for Ain’t My Fault, I had this idea of using the marble background, along with a promo picture of Zara as well as some other textures to make my cover.

I searched and found the two textures that I liked, and printed them off along with the official cover to use the polaroid element as well as the marbled background. I then ripped them up and cut the polaroid frame out to place on top of the other picture of Zara. I then placed all the elements down on top of a yellow piece of card as I felt the yellow complemented the original image. I then took a picture of my arrangement with my DSLR camera to get a HQ picture of it. I then transferred the image to Photoshop and cropped and edited the colours to brighten the cover up. Out of all of the covers I’ve ever done, this one has got to be one of my favourites.
Thank you for reading this project, and if you liked it please like it, and feedback is always welcome.
